Overview We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to investigate novel CAR T‑cell therapies and other immunotherapies in preclinical models of childhood neuroblastoma. The position is in the laboratory of Dr. Shahab Asgharzadeh within the Cancer and Blood Disease Institute at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, in affiliation with Keck School of Medicine and the University of Southern California. The fellow will conduct laboratory work, publish results, participate in seminars, and collaborate with the Principal Investigator and a network of investigators. Key Responsibilities Perform laboratory work and conduct research activities independently or collaboratively. Investigate immunotherapies and their interaction with the tumor microenvironment using mouse models of neuroblastoma. Publish results in scientific manuscripts and research publications. Participate in seminars, meetings, trainings, and other educational sessions. Qualifications MD and/or PhD, or equivalent doctoral degree; must have completed the doctoral degree by the anticipated start date. Strong background in immunology and molecular biology. Exposure to and/or experience in research in a healthcare environment preferred.
