Master Scheduler

Master SchedulerWe are seeking a Master Scheduler to join our manufacturing team onsite in Sylmar, CA. In this role, you will develop and maintain production schedules, optimize capacity, collaborate cross-functionally to ensure material and production readiness, and drive on-time delivery performance. This role reports to the Purchasing and Logistics Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and maintain rolling production schedules (e.g., 12–16 weeks).Translate sales forecasts and firm customer orders into finite-capacity schedules.Analyze production capacity, identify bottlenecks, and run "what-if" scenarios.Balance loads and set precise production time fences to maximize resource utilization.Partner with Procurement for material availability, Production for scheduling feasibility, and Sales to provide accurate delivery lead times.Monitor and improve critical supply chain metrics, such as On-Time In-Full (OTIF), schedule adherence, and capacity utilization.Adjust schedules in response to unforeseen events (e.g., material delays, equipment breakdowns) and develop proactive recovery plans.Ensure high data integrity and hygiene within enterprise planning systems (Bills of Materials, lead times, planning parameters).QualificationsOnly US Citizens, Green card holders, political asylees, or refugees are eligible to apply.Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration is strongly preferred.3+ years of experience in production planning, materials control, or scheduling within a manufacturing or engineering environment.Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Advanced Excel are mandatory.Professional credentials from industry bodies, such as ASCM/APICS, are highly desirable.The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000, with a possibility of an annual bonus up to 10% of base salary.
