Title: Metal Fabrication Production Supervisor

Location: Leola PA

Full Time Direct Hire

Second Shift 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM Mon - Fri (Occasional Saturdays)

Relocation: Up to $5K

Overview:

·         Lead and own a second shift metal fabrication operation where your decisions directly impact people, production, quality, safety, and output.

Description:

·         This is a hands-on leadership role with approximately 80 percent of the shift spent on the production floor.

·         You will lead production employees, assign labor, schedule work, manage priorities, track KPIs, and hold the team accountable for results.

·         The operation includes structural steel fabrication, welding, robotic welding, sawing, punching, blasting, powder coating , and related metalworking processes.

What You Will Own:

·         Second shift production, staffing, workflow, productivity, labor efficiency, quality, safety, and on time delivery.

·         You will identify bottlenecks, address production problems, improve throughput, reduce waste, and maintain strong coordination with other shifts, maintenance, quality, and management.

What You Bring:

·         3 plus years of production supervision in manufacturing .

·         3 plus years of structural steel, heavy fabrication, metalworking, welding, machining , or closely related experience.

·         Experience supervising multiple metalworking processes and working knowledge of welding and metal fabrication .

·         Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings and scheduling work, assigning labor, and managing production priorities.

·         Experience tracking production KPIs, labor efficiency, quality, downtime, and output.

·         Experience with ERP or manufacturing production systems and experience with Lean manufacturing, 5S , waste reduction, labor utilization, or throughput improvement.

·         Experience leading second or third shift operations and experience managing employee performance, attendance, timekeeping, and corrective action.

·         Robotic welding setup, programming , troubleshooting, or quality experience is highly valued.
