Position Summary

Nassau Candy is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and solution-oriented Manager, HR Operations to support the continued development of the Company's HR infrastructure, systems, compensation practices, performance management processes, compensation and reporting capabilities.

This is a newly created role reporting to the Director, Human Resources, Corporate. The Manager will be responsible for helping build scalable and consistent HR processes, with particular emphasis on compensation and job architecture, performance review administration, HR systems, reporting and analytics, and process automation.

The successful candidate will combine practical HR knowledge with strong analytical, systems, and project management capabilities. This individual should be comfortable working with HR data, identifying process gaps, building workflows, and taking ownership of projects from concept through implementation.

Essential Responsibilities

Performance Review & Compensation Administration

• Coordinate and administer the Company’s annual performance review and salary increase processes, including timelines, tracking, employee discussions and completion.
• Ensure approved performance reviews, compensation changes, and effective dates are accurately documented. Proactively following up with managers and HR team members regarding outstanding reviews, approvals, and required documentation.
• Review and propose salary increases in relation to performance, salary range, internal equity, prior increases, and other relevant compensation information.
• Coordinate approved salary changes with Payroll and confirm all required information is submitted accurately and timely.
• Develop reporting that provides HR leadership with visibility into outstanding reviews, proposed increases, completed reviews, and compensation trends.

HR Systems & Process Management

• Serve as a key HR resource for ADP Workforce Now and related HR systems and processes, evaluating and improving HR workflows and functionality to reduct manual processes, including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, performance management, and reporting.
• Educate and support managers on appropriate use of ADP processes and tools.
• Develop standardized HR processes, workflows, templates, forms, and documentation.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure HR information and processes are accurate and consistently maintained.

HR Reporting & Analytics

• Consolidate information from multiple HR sources to develop and maintain HR dashboards and recurring reports that provide meaningful workforce information to HR and leadership.
• Track and analyze metrics including headcount, turnover, vacancies, hiring activity, compensation, performance reviews, salary increases, and other workforce trends.
• Develop reporting that identifies overdue actions, exceptions, trends, and areas requiring management attention.
• Partner with HR leadership to determine which metrics should be regularly reported and how information can be used to support decision-making.

HR Automation & Process Improvement

• Evaluate and improve current HR processes to identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and improved accountability.
• Develop automated workflows, tracking mechanisms, notifications, and status reporting using ADP, Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, SharePoint/Lists, Excel, and other available technology.
• Document new processes and train HR team members and managers on their use.
• Champion the evaluation of new HR technology and AI-enabled tools that could improve efficiency, reporting, employee service, or HR decision-making and reduce dependence on manual reporting and processes.

HR Strategy & Continuous Improvement

• Support the Director, Human Resources – Corporate and CHRO on HR projects and strategic initiatives.
• Identify process gaps and recommend practical solutions that improve consistency, efficiency, compliance, and the employee experience.
• Assist with workforce planning, organizational development, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
• Support the implementation of new HR programs, policies, systems, and processes.
• Manage assigned HR projects, including establishing timelines, tracking deliverables, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring completion.
• Partner across HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and business operations to ensure HR initiatives are successfully implemented.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Analytics, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with exposure to HR operations, compensation, HRIS, performance management, or HR analytics.
• Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to work with HR and compensation data.
• Demonstrated ability to identify inefficient processes and develop practical solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality, particularly when handling sensitive employee and compensation information.
• Experience developing or maintaining salary ranges and conducting compensation analysis strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience developing reports and analyzing data.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now, Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, SharePoint/Lists, Power BI, or similar workflow and reporting technology preferred.
• Strong project management, organizational, and follow-through skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and recurring deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers and senior leadership.
