Overview
Speech Language Pathologist – Acute Care in Chillicothe, Ohio. This travel assignment starts on 08/10/2026 for 13 weeks with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. The role offers a weekly pay range of $2,030–$2,085 and features a 4×9-hour shift pattern (4 days per week, typically Tue–Fri, with scheduling subject to patient needs). In this acute care setting, you will evaluate and treat pediatric patients as well as adults in neuro and dysphagia populations, working closely with a multidisciplinary team and engaging in co-treatment when indicated. A valid Ohio license with CCCs is required.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive speech-language evaluations for pediatric and adult patients in an acute care setting.
- Plan and administer therapy for pediatric populations and adults with neuro-related communication needs and dysphagia; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide co-treatment when indicated to support patient goals.
- Educate patients and families, participate in discharge planning, and coordinate referrals as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate documentation in patient records and ensure timely follow-up and billing alignment.

Requirements
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license in Ohio with CCCs
- Minimum 3 years of experience in speech-language pathology
- Pediatric experience required; experience with pediatric dysphagia and adult neuro populations preferred
- Ability to work in an acute care (inpatient/outpatient) setting
- Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the assignment location
