Job Summary

iStaffing Chino is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Receiving Clerk to join our team. This position combines traditional warehouse receiving responsibilities with guest-facing customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately receiving and documenting incoming shipments, maintaining inventory records, and providing a professional experience for customers dropping off or picking up merchandise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips, bills of lading, and purchase orders.
• Ensure products received match order quantities and specifications.
• Enter and maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including SCALE Manhattan.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies involving missing, damaged, or incorrect shipments.
• Communicate professionally with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments regarding receiving issues.
• Assist customers and vendors with product drop-offs and pickups in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and support inventory control processes.
• Organize and label inventory within designated warehouse locations.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse receiving, inventory control, or receiving clerk role.
• Strong data entry and computer skills.
• Experience working with inventory tracking systems or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Ability to accurately verify shipments, quantities, and product information.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills for inventory and quantity verification.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Customer service or guest relations experience.
