Job Title: Assembler Job Description

This role focuses on assembling medical equipment, such as lifts that support individuals with mobility needs. You will work at a dedicated sub-assembly station, performing assembly tasks while seated. Using work diagrams and instructions provided on an iPad, you will retrieve organized parts and assemble them according to specifications. Candidates with experience in electrical circuit boards or panels will adapt quickly to these openings. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are highly valued in this position.

• Assemble medical equipment, including mobility lifts, according to detailed diagrams and instructions provided on an iPad.
• Work at a fixed sub-assembly station, completing assembly tasks primarily from a seated position.
• Retrieve and organize required parts from designated areas and ensure all components are available for each build.
• Use hand tools safely and effectively to assemble parts and complete manufacturing tasks.
• Perform lifting and handling of parts and assemblies as needed during the production process.
• Follow manufacturing procedures and quality standards to ensure equipment is assembled accurately and reliably.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and clean up any messes before the end of each workday.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and workplace rules while working in the production environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and timelines.
• Be available for the established work schedule and comply with mandatory overtime requirements when implemented.

• Approximately 1 year of assembly experience preferred in a manufacturing or production environment.
• At least 6 months of regular experience using hand tools in an assembly or related setting.
• Ability to read and follow diagrams, instructions, and workflows provided on digital devices such as an iPad.
• Experience with basic assembly tasks, including using hand tools and performing repetitive operations.
• Capability to perform lifting and physical tasks associated with assembling parts and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following established procedures and quality standards.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with readiness for mandatory overtime until 4:30 p.m. as required.
• Positive attitude and consistent effort, with willingness to learn and adapt to the assembly process.

• Background or experience working with electrical circuit boards or panels is highly beneficial.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience assembling components or equipment.
• Comfort using digital devices and applications to access work instructions and diagrams.
• Ability to work independently at a station while also contributing to team production goals.

You will join a clean, well-organized, and climate-controlled facility where safety, quality, and teamwork are central to daily operations. The work is steady and structured, with clear instructions and processes that make it easier to succeed and grow your skills. The work takes place in a climate-controlled, very clean manufacturing facility focused on assembling medical equipment. You will be stationed at a dedicated sub-assembly area, performing tasks primarily while seated and using an iPad for diagrams and instructions. The workspace is organized, and you are responsible for keeping your area clean and ensuring messes are cleaned up before the end of each day. The standard shift is Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with anticipated mandatory overtime extending the day until 4:30 p.m. Dress code requires jeans or khakis without holes and prohibits graphic t-shirts, supporting a professional and neat appearance on the production floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maryland Heights, MO.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
