Chief Financial Officer

Seeking an energetic Chief Financial Officer who will work side by side as a partner to the CEO to build out this high-growth PE-Backed business. The ideal candidate will have on hands on, roll-up their sleeves and get it done mentality, values people, and can build a culture of engagement and communication.

The Chief Financial Officer will direct and oversee the financial activities of the corporation, direct the preparation of current financial reports and summaries, and create forecasts predicting future growth.

Reporting directly into the CEO with tons of opportunity to support the tremendous growth of the company

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Serve as key member of the senior management team, partnering with the CEO in growing the business
2. Lead annual budget and multi-year forecasting processes;
3. Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, etc.
4. Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
5. Reviews planning process and suggests improvements to current methods.
6. Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.
7. Identifies opportunities for expansion into new product areas.
8. Lead and build out the finance team to support the companies growth

Required Skills/Abilities:

1. Ten plus years of experience in financial management required.
2. Experience in food/beverage manufacturing.
3. Previous experience in a CFO or divisional CFO role is preferred
4. Senior finance experience across multiple areas, including accounting, management reporting, FP&A, budgeting and forecasting and financial operations;
5. Experienced in leading new systems and process implementation, and project accounting;
6. Outstanding leader and team builder
7. Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Private equity experience is a plus
