Tax Senior Opportunity

Location: Greater Pittsburgh area, PA (hybrid) Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000, depending on experience

A well-established regional CPA and advisory firm in the Greater Pittsburgh area is looking for a Tax Senior to take on a varied book of business and closely held clients. You'll prepare and review complex returns, work directly with clients, and help develop staff, with a clear path to Supervisor and Manager.

Prepare and perform first-level review of individual, partnership, S corporation, and C corporation returns

Handle multistate filings, tax provisions, and projections

Research technical tax issues and recommend practical solutions

Serve as a day-to-day contact for clients and respond to tax authority notices

Plan and manage engagements to meet deadlines and budgets

Train, coach, and review the work of staff

Support managers on tax planning and special projects

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation a plus

3-5 years of tax experience in public accounting

CPA or EA (or actively pursuing)

Strong knowledge of pass-through and individual taxation

Experience with major tax software (e.g., CCH, UltraTax, GoSystem)

Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and client service skills

Base salary of $80,000 - $110,000, depending on experience
