Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) | Night Shift | Muskogee, OK

Location: Muskogee, Oklahoma

Position Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time

Schedule:
• Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• 36 hours per week

Compensation:
• Starting at $29.89/hour
• Additional incentives discussed during interview

Position Overview

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join its Respiratory Care team. This opportunity is ideal for both new graduates and experienced therapists looking to work in a collaborative acute care environment while providing high-quality respiratory services across multiple patient populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate respiratory care plans.
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, nebulizer medications, and respiratory interventions.
• Manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
• Assist with intubation, extubation, bronchoscopy procedures, and airway management.
• Monitor patient respiratory status and respond to emergencies, code blues, and rapid response calls.
• Document patient care and physician orders accurately in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments.
• Participate in quality improvement and departmental initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RCP) or Temporary Letter to Practice.
• CRT or RRT Credential through NBRC.
• BLS Certification within 2 months of hire.

Experience:
• New Graduates Welcome.
• 0-6 months experience accepted.
