Sam's Club #6343 9440 W Broad St Richmond, VA 23294-5330 Responsibilities Provides member service, maintains the checkout area, resolves member issues and concerns, promotes Sam's Club products and services, and guides members regarding self-service technology. Processes member purchases and assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies for various membership and payment types. Follows company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, handling merchandise properly, and reporting unsafe situations to facility management. Maintains entrance and exit areas, verifies membership cards, reviews receipts, observes potential criminal activity, maintains paperwork and logs, and executes emergency response procedures. Assists with the training of Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, procedures, technology, and new program rollouts, providing continuous learning and process improvement opportunities. Zones, organizes, and arranges merchandise; identifies shrink and damages; and assists members with purchasing decisions and transporting items. Adheres to company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, uses the Open Door Policy, and applies action plans in business processes. Collaborates with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners to complete assignments, set priorities, communicate progress, identify improvement opportunities, and adapt to change. Preferred Qualifications Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register). Experience working with mobile retail applications. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
