About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to develop and implement a comprehensive, enterprise-wide security strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a central security team and coordinating with global resources to protect information assets, IT systems, and services. A key aspect of the role is to evangelize a 'security-by-design' culture and ensure that security practices align with the company's commitment to sustainability and operational resilience. The CISO will also be tasked with mitigating third-party and supply chain risks, translating security into financial terms, and leading a shared responsibility culture for cybersecurity across the organization. Applicants for the CISO position at the company must have a minimum of 10-15 years' of IT and/or business leadership experience, with at least 7 years' in senior information security roles within a multinational organization. The role requires a proven track record in developing global security strategies and extensive knowledge of business risk. The ideal candidate will have experience in presenting security matters to executive management and boards, as well as managing compliance with global privacy and cybersecurity regulations. A strong background in security across diverse global markets and critical infrastructure projects is essential, and experience in complex operational environments such as distribution, logistics, ecommerce, or manufacturing is preferred. The CISO will be expected to lead incident response, disaster recovery, and security due diligence for M&A activities, and must be adept at managing a high-performing global team of security professionals.
