Flex Warehouse/DriverHolman Powertrain has a great opportunity for a Flex Warehouse/Driver to join our team in Indianapolis, IN!Starting pay: $21 per hourShift: Monday - Friday Starting at 6amBenefits include health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, paid time off and more!Eligible for benefits within 30 days of employmentWhat will you do?Pull part purchases from stock and deliver to drivers.Stock incoming parts and return parts.Maintain inventories of all inventoried items (controlled and/or non-controlled).Bar coding on all incoming parts and equipment.Receive packing slips and verify quantities for parts against purchase orders.Gather and properly package inventory and purchased items needing shipment.Unload delivery trucks.Able to lift heavy boxes.Able to operate a forklift.Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report all accidents to a manager or supervisor.Load, secure, and deliver automobile parts (engines, transmissions, small parts, etc.) to customersDrive to customer locations and off load and reload truck. Loading is performed with a pallet jack or forklift.Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.Must be able to drive vehicles 7000-33000 GVW.Use Scanner/print pad to Scan/log returned goods; track delivery of goods and returnsCheck-in finished goods before loading vehiclePerform daily DOT safety check/inspection on vehicle and report deficiencies to managerOther duties as assigned.What are we looking for?Prior warehouse experiencePrior truck driving experienceForklift/Pallet Jack experienceStrong verbal and written communication skills- able to communicate problems/delays with pick-ups/deliveries/inventory to internal stakeholderExperience in logistics, supply chain, freight, and commercial truck driving and/or warehouse operationsExperience with wireless inventory system is desired.Basic computers skills.Good attention to detail.Strong organizational skillsPositive energy while working in a team settingTechnical knowledge.At Holman, we exist to provide rewarding careers and better lives for employees and their families.
