Sunset Park Cleanup with PCR

Overview Meet in front of the Recreational Center at Sunset Park. In PCR's Park Cleanup event, volunteers are responsible for maintaining the appearance, health, and safety of landscapes and features in public parks. Volunteers will work to beautify the park grounds by keeping lawns green, raking leaves and litter, planting and tending flowers and shrubs, and removing weeds. Volunteers will maintain and repair debris as needed. Participants work hard to ensure the park is attractive and clean for community members, helping the community understand the importance of a clean environment for their neighborhood. Responsibilities Volunteer tasks include: maintaining lawn and garden areas, raking leaves, litter removal, planting flowers and shrubs, weed removal, repairing park debris, and ensuring safety and cleanliness for community members. Requirements Participants must be responsible and have: Adept coordination and management skills to ensure that all materials is properly arranged and organized. Some hands‑on experience with cleaning equipment and trash removal procedures. Ability to follow directions and tasks in a high‑paced environment.
