Access Control Technician
Travel Position | $25.00-$35.00/Hour + $50/Day Per Diem Tired of having the skills to solve the problem-but working somewhere that only wants you to follow orders? You know construction. You know how to work with your hands. Maybe you've installed fence and gates, poured concrete, welded, operated equipment, or worked around electrical systems. But you're ready for more than being another person on the crew. What if you could take the skills you've already built and turn them into a specialized career? At Empire , we're looking for an Access Control Technician who wants to combine construction experience with technology, problem-solving, and craftsmanship while traveling to projects across the country. We're not just looking for someone who can install a gate. We're looking for the person who wants to understand how the entire system works. The Person We're Looking For You're the person who notices when something isn't right. A gate doesn't line up correctly? You see it. Something on the plans doesn't make sense? You ask the question. An operator isn't functioning correctly? You want to know why . You take pride in solving the problem instead of putting a temporary fix on it and walking away. You're organized because you know a successful job starts before anyone drills the first hole. You can work independently, but you also understand that the best crews communicate and look out for each other. And when you're given the opportunity to learn something new, you take it. Sound like you? Then keep reading. More Than Construction Access control sits at the intersection of construction, security, electrical systems, equipment, welding, and technology. You'll work on commercial security gate and fence systems across the country while continuing to develop skills that make you more valuable in the industry. You'll be trusted to:
