CT State Capitol Tour Guide
League of Women Voters Education Fund, Inc.
Inform visitors about state government and history while conducting tours of one of the most beautiful capitols in the country. Training is done on an individual basis. No prior tour guide experience is necessary. Most guides work two hour shifts, once a week, but scheduling is flexible. Guided tours are offered Monday through Friday at 9:15, 10:15, 11:15, 12:15, and 1:15. Qualifications: interest in state history and the legislative process, good public speaking skills, desire to learn, pleasing personality, average physical stamina, reliability, punctuality.
