This is a dynamic environment ideal for physicians who thrive in independent decision-making roles and enjoy managing complex obstetric care. *High-Acuity Care* * Work within *MultiCare Deaconess Hospital*, which services *1800 deliveries annually*, with a l*evel III NICU* for advanced care. * *Pediatrix OB Hospitalist team* manages about 20% of total deliveries * Fully inpatient role, with consistent exposure to *complex, high-risk obstetric cases* * High-volume *transport-in center* serving Spokane and surrounding communities, with exposure to *advanced pathology and antepartum admissions * *True Autonomy in Developing a Diverse Skillset* * Function as an* independent provider, with duties including OB ED management, labor management and emergencies *in addition to assisting providers as needed. * *24/7* OB Hospitalist coverage * Management of *unassigned and high-risk patients *including* Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) patients* * Ideal for experienced physicians, confident in independent clinical decision making *Established, Supportive Practice Structure* * *5 *physician hospitalist team: Open to *part-time or full-time seeking candidates* * Collaborative culture with strong subspecialty support * Close partnership with *Rockwood OBGYN* and community health organizations with high-risk needs *Spokane: An Oasis in the Pacific Northwest* Spokane offers a unique balance of lifestyle and accessibility?appealing to those who enjoy the outdoors without sacrificing the conveniences of a mid-sized city. Team Members are eligible to begin participating in the ESPP if they have been employed by Pediatrix for two consecutive months prior to the start of each calendar quarterly offering period and are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for five consecutive months during the year. *Paid Sick Leave*: Eligible full-time team members will receive a lump-sum grant of 70 hours or eight days, whichever is more beneficial to the team member, of paid sick leave each year on January 1. A newly hired full-time team member will receive a prorated lump-sum grant after working for 90 days. A lumpsum grant will then be provided on January 1 in each subsequent year as long as the team member remains eligible.
