About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to play a pivotal role in the organization's mission to empower young people as active citizens. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO to scale the impact of community-based civic education, research, and coalition building. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in project management, particularly in a multi-site or matrixed nonprofit environment. The Chief of Staff will be responsible for fostering a culture of belonging, transparency, and excellence, and will oversee internal communication, leadership development, and the execution of annual goals. A deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as a passion for the company's mission, is essential. Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the company should have at least 7 years' of experience in a leadership and project management role, with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels of the organization. The Chief of Staff will also be involved in executive governance, strategic operations, and will serve as a thought partner to the CEO. The position is primarily remote, with occasional travel, and requires a highly collaborative spirit and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
