Tax Manager

We are a midsize CPA firm located in San Francisco. We are about 70 employees and growing. We are a tax and wealth focused firm. With we have a large number of private businesses ranging from small s-corps to large privately held investment partnerships and hedge funds in the Billions of dollars in value. With this brings a large number of High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients. Most of our clients have businesses in the financial spaces, silicon valley, venture capitalism, and private equity, and non-profits. 

We are looking for a tax manager who has extensive experience working with HNW/UHNW clients who have incomes over $200M annually. This will come with significant pass-through entities, non-profit foundations, and a lot gift, trust, and estate work. Tax Managers and up are heavily focused on return review on top of the client management and planning work, but you may be asked to prep some returns to help with work flow. 

What you Need:

• 5+ Years in Public Accounting
• Active CPA
• Expertise in Business and Individual Tax  
• Privately Held Businesses
• HNWIs, Partnerships, s-corps, trust & estate, some c-corps
• Experience working with UHNWIs genrating at least $200M a year in income
• Experience Training, Mentoring, and Supervising Multi-Person Teams
  
   

What you will be doing:

• Prepare & Review Complex Tax Returns
  • Private Client Services
  • HNWIs w/ multiple businesses attached
• Client Management - Direct Contact with clients for tax planning, consulting, and identifying tax issues
• Researching Complex Tax Issues
• Train & Mentor Team of multiple levels of employees
• Managing Multiple Engagements for Multiple Clients at all times
