Registered Nurse - OB/GYN

Call for Salary Rate –

Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive and patient-centered nursing care to obstetrics and gynecology patients across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecological units. Works independently to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse, ensuring quality outcomes and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on nursing judgment and clinical competency.
• Implement nursing interventions, including performing clinical skills specific to OB/GYN settings.
• Educate patients and their families on care procedures, treatment plans, and health management.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to promote coordinated patient care.
• Document patient progress accurately in compliance with hospital policies and standards.
• Manage supplies and equipment efficiently while maintaining a safe and organized environment.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid nursing license and graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Possess at least one year of acute care experience as a registered nurse.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, and STABLE certification.
• Be vaccinated for COVID-19 per state mandate.
