Recognized as one of the premier brands in the home furnishings industry, the company serves residential, hospitality, contract, and design trade customers worldwide through a portfolio distinguished by exceptional design, quality, and innovation. As the company enters its next phase of growth, it seeks a visionary marketing and creative executive to elevate and modernize the brand while honoring the heritage and values that have made it an industry leader. This executive will lead all aspects of marketing, creative, digital, content, communications, social media, photography, public relations, AI-driven marketing innovation, and customer engagement. This role is responsible for creating a unified brand vision that strengthens the company’s position within the luxury furnishings market while expanding awareness, engagement, and market share across residential, hospitality, design trade, retail, and digital channels. The ideal candidate combines creative excellence, strategic marketing leadership, digital expertise, storytelling capabilities, and a deep understanding of luxury consumer behavior. This individual will oversee the entire marketing ecosystem and build the next generation of brand engagement through innovative content, emerging technologies, data-driven insights, and world-class creative execution.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive Leadership & Brand Vision Define and lead the long-term brand strategy across all channels and customer segments. Serve as chief steward of the brand, ensuring consistency, relevance, and excellence across every customer touch-point. Develop a multi-year roadmap that positions the organization for continued growth and relevance in an evolving marketplace. Champion innovation while preserving the heritage and values that distinguish the brand. Lead all marketing initiatives across residential, hospitality, design trade, retail partner, and direct-to-consumer channels. Develop integrated marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth. Drive customer journey development and omni-channel engagement strategies. Oversee annual marketing planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation. Lead all creative strategy, visual storytelling, and content development efforts. Establish creative vision and standards for photography, videography, digital assets, advertising, collateral, showroom experiences, and brand campaigns. Oversee art direction for seasonal launches, product introductions, catalogs, campaigns, and market presentations. Ensure every creative asset reflects the company’s luxury positioning and design leadership. Direct internal teams and external agencies to deliver compelling and innovative brand experiences. Digital Marketing & Customer Experience Lead the evolution of the digital ecosystem, including websites, customer engagement platforms, and future digital experiences. Oversee SEO, SEM, paid media, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and performance marketing initiatives. Drive website optimization, user experience improvements, lead generation, and conversion strategies. Utilize analytics and customer insights to continuously improve performance and engagement. Ensure digital initiatives directly support brand growth and business objectives. Establish the organization as an industry leader in AI-enhanced marketing and content creation. Identify and implement AI technologies that improve creative development, campaign performance, customer engagement, personalization, and operational efficiency. Evaluate emerging technologies and digital platforms that enhance brand storytelling and customer experiences. Lead innovation initiatives that position the company at the forefront of luxury marketing and digital transformation. Content, Social Media & Communications Develop and oversee a comprehensive content strategy across all channels. Lead social media strategy, influencer engagement, community building, and content distribution. Drive brand storytelling through editorial, video, photography, and digital content. Oversee public relations efforts, media outreach, thought leadership initiatives, and brand communications. Build relationships with key design, shelter, lifestyle, and luxury media partners. Photography, Video & Production Direct all photography, video production, and visual content creation efforts. Oversee campaign shoots, product photography, lifestyle imagery, and showroom content. Ensure the company’s visual presentation remains among the strongest and most aspirational in the home furnishings industry. Manage production budgets, photographers, stylists, agencies, and external creative resources. Trade Shows, Events & Experiential Marketing Lead marketing and creative execution for major industry markets and events. Develop immersive brand experiences that elevate market presence and customer engagement. Oversee event strategy, media programs, influencer activities, and showroom experiences. Ensure consistency of messaging and visual identity across all activations. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing and creative organization. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and creative excellence. Recruit and develop top-tier talent across marketing, creative, digital, content, communications, and production functions. Manage agency relationships and external partners to maximize performance and efficiency.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Advertising, Business, or related field required; advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience spanning brand marketing, creative leadership, digital marketing, and communications. Significant experience within luxury brands, home furnishings, interior design, hospitality, lifestyle, fashion, or other premium consumer categories. Demonstrated success building and evolving iconic brands. Deep understanding of content strategy, creative development, digital marketing, social media, public relations, and customer engagement. Experience managing large-scale photo shoots, creative production, and integrated campaigns. Strong understanding of AI technologies and their application within modern marketing organizations. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence executive stakeholders. Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
