Cardiovascular Technologist, OR CVOR Tech – Vail, CO. This travel assignment is with a short-term acute care setting, starting 08/03/2026 for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Assist during surgical procedures by maintaining the sterile field and providing instrumentation to the surgical team.
- Maintain and check items for proper packaging, moisture, seal integrity, sterile indicators, expiration dates, and ensure a safe operating room environment.
- Monitor the sterile field for contamination or interruptions and initiate corrective actions under supervision.
- Progress toward competency in Tier 1 surgical cases and participate in the Time Out process, including briefings and debriefings.
- Support patient transports, room turnover, and room preparation to sustain efficient workflow.
- Model professional behavior and uphold current knowledge of instrumentation, equipment, and perioperative standards.

Requirements
- Licensed Surgical Technologist in the state of Colorado (Colorado license required)
- Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program and/or Licensure as a Surgical Technologist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association
- Must possess or obtain computer skills within 90 days for online learning, policy access, and benefits enrollment
- Strong English reading/writing/speaking skills
- Ability to work in a perioperative environment and adhere to sterile technique and HIPAA requirements
