Job Description

We are seeking a sharp and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Shop Helper. This position involves assisting in a variety of shop tasks, where excellent math and ruler-reading skills are essential. A clear driving record and consistent attendance are critical for success in this role. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company with potential for permanent employment based on performance and workload.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with general shop tasks and support production as needed
• Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Perform accurate measurements using rulers and other instruments
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Good math skills and ruler-reading ability
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record (no suspensions, OWIs, or speeding tickets within the past 3 years)
• Excellent attendance and reliability
• Ability to work overtime as needed

The base salary range for this position is $18+, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
