Chemical Dependency Counselor

Overview Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor and the Manager, the Chemical Dependency Professional implements, maintains, and coordinates the case management of assigned patients. The professional delivers treatment services including individual and family sessions, lectures, and group therapy. They perform all levels of pre‑admission assessment—from inquiry to biopsychosocial assessment— and participate in the clinical admission process. Responsibilities Implement, maintain, and coordinate case management for assigned patients. Deliver individual, family, lecture, and group therapy sessions. Conduct pre‑admission assessments from inquiry through biopsychosocial evaluation. Assist in clinical admission processes for chemical dependency patients. Required Qualifications Washington Substance Use Disorder Professional License (upon hire). Minimum of 2 years counseling experience with individuals whose primary problem is chemical dependency. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling or related field. Master’s Degree in Counseling or related field. Experience working with dual diagnosis patients.
