CNC Lathe Machinist

A confidential manufacturing company is looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist to join their machining team.

This is a hands-on CNC machining role for an experienced machinist who enjoys both setup and production. The position involves setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, verticals, or horizontals to produce high-quality components at or above established cycle times and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust CNC lathes and mills with no supervision
• Change tooling and make machine adjustments to hold tolerances
• Load/unload parts and run production cycles
• Read blueprints, job orders, and GD&T specs
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of CNC Lathe Machine Operation experience
• CNC lathe and mill experience required
• Skilled in G & M Code understanding with program editing ability
• Setup and tooling changeover experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Average work week is 45 hours
• Overtime available
