About the Role

BrightCell Logistics is seeking a Regional Controller – LATAM to lead the regional accounting and finance function. This role will contribute to the company’s financial strength and overall business performance.

\n

We are looking for a finance leader with experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution, or third-party logistics (3PL), supported by a strong background in controllership. The position combines strategic accounting and financial leadership with hands-on involvement in financial and operational processes.

\n

The Regional Controller will play a key role in strengthening accounting and financial controls, providing reliable insights for decision-making, and improving profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency in close collaboration with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n

\n
• Lead regional accounting and financial management, including accounting operations, controllership, and executive reporting.
\n
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
\n
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure the efficient use of financial resources.
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve margins, optimize costs, and enhance profitability.
\n
• Strengthen controllership processes, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
\n
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information.
\n
• Partner with senior leadership and operational teams to evaluate business performance and support decision-making.
\n
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory obligations.
\n
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and financial management tools.

Qualifications

\n

\n

\n
• At least 10 years of accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibilities and a strong track record in Accounting Controller or Regional Controller roles.
\n
• Proven experience in logistics, freight transportation, warehousing, distribution, or third-party logistics (3PL) companies.
\n
• Strong expertise in controllership, accounting, month-end close, financial consolidation, and management reporting.
\n
• Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, working capital, and profitability analysis.
\n
• Experience managing regional, multinational, or multi-entity financial operations.
\n
• Knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and ERP systems.
\n
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish.
\n
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification preferred, ideally with an active U.S. license.
