Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of previous experience required; at least 1 travel contract completed preferred License: State licenses required Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, central lines - Proficient in administering Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban; some titration experience required - Must have a driver's license and a completed work history/resume - Skills checklist completed within the last year - License verification - One supervisory reference required at the time of submission Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment where quick decision-making is essential. Travelers will be required to work 1-2 of the summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. Shift coverage includes weekends on an every other week basis. The position offers an engaging opportunity to advance skills and make a difference in patient care within progressive settings. Candidates must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility unless specific local exceptions apply.
