Material Handler — Full-Time

Pay: $20/hr.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

We're seeking a dependable Material Handler to join one of our client's warehouse operations team. In this role, you'll offload incoming material, process and stage customer orders, and help maintain accurate, traceable inventory.

What You'll Do

• Offload incoming shipments and process them efficiently
• Stage outbound orders to minimize loading and truck detention time
• Maintain inventory accuracy and material traceability
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and RF scanners
• Measure steel products (tubing, bar, beam, channel, angle) using tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment
• Follow established safety processes and procedures
• Work collaboratively with teammates to support a safe, productive environment

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma
• 1+ year of experience measuring steel products required
• 5+ year of experience with calipers/micrometers required
• 1+ year of truck loading experience with forklift and overhead crane required
• Forklift, overhead crane, and RF scanner experience preferred
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills, including fractions/decimals
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Must be fluent in English

Working Conditions

• Ability to work in hot (90&degree;F+) environments for extended periods
• 8+ hours of standing/walking throughout the shift
• Frequent squatting/bending to inspect or handle material
• Lifting of moderate loads
• Occasional overtime as needed
