TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Hagerstown, Maryland, 21742!

Job Opportunity – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) RN – Maryland

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Maryland

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week, 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, every other weekend required, floating to IMC as needed

Highlights:

• Specialized patient population including trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro cases
• Epic EMR system utilized for all charting and documentation
• 24-hour orientation with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
• Every other weekend scheduling requirement with one time-off request permitted during assignment
• 18-patient daily census in a 24-bed unit with advanced equipment including CRRT, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and intraventricular drains
• Collaborative care environment serving adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations

Requirements:

• Active RN license (pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2-3 years of ICU experience; 3+ years strongly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios in critical care settings
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, central line care, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (no exemptions)
