Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and customer‑oriented Host/Hostess to join our team. The Host/Hostess will welcome guests to our establishment, seat them at the appropriate tables, and ensure a smooth dining experience for all patrons. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in a customer service role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of restaurant procedures and customer service principles. Responsibilities Greet guests as they arrive and thank them as they leave. Seat guests based on their preferences and the restaurant's availability. Answer incoming calls and take reservations when needed. Manage the waiting list and notify guests when tables are ready. Assist with setting up and clearing tables as needed. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
