Senior Program Manager - DMDC

Location: Falls Church, VA Job Id: 404 Senior Program Manager – DMDC The Senior Program Manager – DMDC is responsible for analyzing science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems. This role evaluates user requirements, procedures, and operational challenges to automate processes, enhance existing systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. The Senior Program Manager applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high‑impact assignments, leading major technology initiatives and serving as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. This position evaluates performance outcomes and recommends significant changes that affect short‑term project growth and success while providing leadership and supervision where applicable. Key Responsibilities Analyze science, engineering, business, and data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems. Evaluate user requirements, procedures, and operational problems to automate or enhance existing systems. Review computer system capabilities, workflow processes, and scheduling limitations to improve performance and efficiency. Plan and lead major technology assignments and high‑impact initiatives. Apply comprehensive technical expertise across key tasks and multiple project assignments. Evaluate project and system performance results and recommend major changes to support project growth and success. Serve as a technical expert across multiple assignments, providing strategic guidance and problem‑solving support. Supervise personnel and provide leadership across project teams where applicable. Required Education and Experience Demonstrated experience leading major technology assignments and complex systems initiatives. Comprehensive knowledge of systems analysis, workflow optimization, and technology implementation. Strong analytical, organizational, and technical problem‑solving skills. Ability to evaluate performance results and recommend strategic improvements. Leadership experience with the ability to supervise and guide project teams.
