Job Responsibilities

• Create Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and devise tailored therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Approaches: Apply evidence-based methodologies to enhance patients' motor skills, cognition, and everyday activities.
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, healthcare providers, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide guidance to patients and caregivers on therapy techniques to foster continued progress at home.
• Track and Record Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and refine treatment plans as needed, guaranteeing the effectiveness of care.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement for ongoing education or additional certifications

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
