Business Litigation Associate - Washington, DC
Our client in an Am law 100 firm, a business litigation associate in JD class year 2021 - 5th year associate - for its Washington, DC office. This is a robust practice that which focuses on business disputes and white collar matters. The salary for this position is between $240k to $265k.
Qualifications :
- 5 years of experience as a practicing litigator in connection with complex business disputes.
- Substantive experience in one of the following areas: complex commercial disputes, white collar criminal defense, telecommunications litigation, or privacy litigation.
- Experience researching and drafting motions, deposition outline and exhibit preparation, motion practice, discovery coordination, and an excellent understanding of civil procedure.
- Experience taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and managing large complex discovery.
- Interest in contributing to business development.
- Federal clerkship and big law experience is a plus.
- Excellent academic credentials and outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Bar admission in DC or ability to become admitted. Maryland and/or Virginia bar is a plus.
- All candidates must be admitted to practice in the. U.S.
