The ADON helps oversee daily clinical operations, supports nursing staff, assists in staff development, promotes regulatory compliance, and fosters a positive, team-oriented environment. Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and supervising the nursing staff to ensure excellent patient care
• Support compliance with all regulatory guidelines and facility policies
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for nursing staff
• Address resident and family concerns with professionalism and compassion

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in New Jersey
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory nursing role preferred
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
