Maintenance MechanicThe Maintenance Mechanic position, under limited supervision, performs work of considerable difficulty conducting machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide scheduled and emergency/unscheduled inspections and repairs of production and other miscellaneous equipments.Perform preventative maintenance. Follow the preventative maintenance SOPs and forms.Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs ie: Filler, packager, palletizer, conveyors..Utilize mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.Diagnose, rebuild, and repair machinery.Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.Provide general building maintenance.Prepare and maintain records and reports.All other duties, as required or needed.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and see.
