We provide facility and preventative maintenance services to aviation, government, and commercial facilities throughout the United States and the Caribbean. With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to add a HVAC Technician to our dynamic team at Newark Liberty International Airport.Scope of Work: The successful candidate will install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in a commercial Facility setting, in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications.Compensation: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour (Based on Experience), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401kAvailable Shifts: 2:00pm – 10:30pm, 10:30pm - 6:30am. Days off to be DeterminedResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair HVAC systemsTroubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issuesPerform routine inspections and preventive maintenanceTest systems and adjust for proper operation and efficiencyRespond promptly and professionally to service callsFollow all safety procedures and guidelines including handling refrigerants and other hazardous materialsDocument work performed, including repairs and parts used ensuring accurate record-keepingSupport and collaborate with other technicians and supervisorsRequirementsMinimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician in commercial and/or industrial settingsValid HVAC certification preferredStrong knowledge of HVAC systems, principles, and regulationsProficient in troubleshooting HVAC systems using diagnostic toolsKnowledge of refrigerants and environmental regulationsStrong communication skills with clients and team membersDetail-oriented with the ability to work independently or as part of a teamValid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subject to our automobile insurance carrier's criteriaPhysical RequirementsAbility to work in environments with frequent exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust, fumes, noise, and other environmental conditionsAbility to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 poundsAbility to climb and work from ladders up to 36+ feet in heightGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
