Lead Data Analyst

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience in data analysis and enterprise software development lifecycles.

• Proficiency in SQL query development and relational databases including DB2 and SQL Server.

• Experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance and policy administration systems.

• Experience with cloud data warehousing technologies including Snowflake and defect tracking tools.

• Experience in enterprise data mapping, structured systems analysis, and data transformation specifications.

• Experience with executing comprehensive unit, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to lead cross-functional technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation and data remediation for a brand-new enterprise policy administration system.

• Develop complex SQL queries to extract data, troubleshoot defects, and support development testing efforts.

• Construct detailed functional specifications, system use cases, and transformation mapping documents.

• Orchestrate all phases of the SDLC to deliver critical data warehouse and compliance reporting projects.

• Formulate comprehensive test plans and execute robust unit, integration, and performance testing.

• Administer defect tracking tools to log, assign, and drive complex data anomalies to final resolution.

• Analyze business requirements to provide accurate technical work effort estimates to IT project managers.
