This inpatient facility in Charleston, South Carolina maintains established cardiothoracic surgical infrastructure and clinical protocols to support coordinated patient care across floor and operating room settings. The facility operates with a structured APP model and on-site support systems to facilitate quality care delivery throughout the locum tenens coverage period. Coverage will commence following completion of the credentialing process.

This locum tenens assignment requires a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Associate to provide inpatient coverage for 5-7 days per month, supporting one full-time APP vacancy. The clinical team consists of one surgeon and two APPs covering both floor and operating room responsibilities, with 24-hour call coverage required as a condition of this assignment. Endovascular Vein Harvesting certification is required, and prescriptive authority must be in place prior to the start of coverage.
