Eligible for monthly commissions on qualifying mattress sales, per the commission agreement terms and conditions. Job Summary As a Showroom Manager, you drive sales success, meet KPIs, and ensure store performance through effective sales strategies and team leadership. This role emphasizes talent development, coaching, hiring top people, and fostering a positive, customer‑centric environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Drive Sales & KPIs and make strategic, operational decisions that align with Purple’s values. Use sales strategies to meet performance metrics and consistently monitor progress. Take ownership of personal and team sales and performance results. Hold team accountable for personal sales performance and productivity. Create optimized store schedules that align staffing with peak times. Hire, develop, coach, and model selling behavior that aligns with Purple’s strategy. Foster a positive work environment where employees enjoy coming to work. Manage and lead a team of approximately 4–5 associates. Adhere to all Purple retail policies including safety and operational standards. Prepare and set up visual marketing displays and promotional materials. Create a customer‑centric, solution‑oriented environment. Communicate product knowledge to match customers’ needs. Exemplify and lead with company values (safety, community, communication, development, accountability, innovation). REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Minimum high school diploma; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. 5+ years of experience in a retail environment, ideally as a store manager. Comfortable learning & adapting to new technology. Excellent interpersonal communication capabilities. Customer service‑oriented attitude. Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively. Leadership, management, team‑building, and problem‑solving strengths. Understanding of basic business management functions. Enthusiasm, positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Proven competencies in effective communication and management. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Physical activities may include ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps, standing for prolonged periods, lifting up to 200 pounds via a team lift or equipment, operating power tools, and performing repetitive motions.
