Complex Director Leisure Sales

Exceptional Hospitality Starts with YouThe location for this position is virtual/remoteThis is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton's sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions! As a Complex Director of Leisure Sales, you will support the areas which are at the core of Hilton's "commercial engine" and are important to Hilton's ability to achieve profitable growth. Supporting Hilton Los Cabos and Conrad Punta de Mita and reporting to the Complex Commercial Director, you will manage the solicitation of new customer relationships and accounts, including wholesalers, receptive tour operators, and luxury travel agencies (Consortia), and maintaining existing accounts, while striving to increase revenue and promote relationships through negotiation of guest rooms for assigned Mexican Resorts.What you'll do during a typical day:Mentor and drive sales managers to achieve sales goals and budget and ensure proper deployment, and management of sales travel, trade show schedule, and sales expenditures.Represent both resorts in interactions dealing with customers relative to sales and operational questions and challenges.Conduct verbal sales presentations to prospective clients. Meet with and entertain clients, some of which will require travel.Coordinate and attend scheduled Sales Department and related meetings.How you'll collaborate with others:Travel to each hotel to meet with potential customers.Travel to industry-related trade shows in multiple destinations around the world.Experience working directly with ownership and asset management.Deliverables you'll take ownership of:Strategic Planning of the leisure team to include deployment, travel, and trade show management, and sales expenditures.Develop marketing plans and initiatives for main accounts.Solicit and develop new accounts to generate business opportunities for the Hilton Los Cabos and the Conrad Punta de Mita resorts.What It Takes to Make the StayYou have these minimum qualifications:Seven (7) years of hotel sales experienceThree (3) years of luxury hotel sales experienceProven experience leading and developing sales teamsRecent work experience with the wholesale, FIT, and luxury consortia market segmentsUp to 30% international travel requiredIt would be useful if you have:Experience delivering sales presentations, both in-person and virtualProficiency in communicating with prospects in English, both verbally and in writing, including responding to emails, phone calls, and demo requestsHow We'll Help You ThriveAt Hilton, the hospitality we're known for doesn't end with our guests. The pay range for this role is $110,000 – $145,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
