As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Columbus, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access-control and security-related procedures. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and respond to concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $16.78 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, and restricted areas to help identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity in accordance with aerospace and defense location requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
