Manufacturing Electrician

Position Overview: gpac is partnering with a highly established manufacturing leader with over 60 years of industry success to confidentially hire an experienced Manufacturing Electrician to join its collaborative maintenance team. This is a hands-on, highly technical role designed for a skilled technician who enjoys solving complex problems and working with a wide array of industrial electrical and automated production equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on PLCs, VFDs, motors, control systems, and electrical distribution panels. Diagnose and service 480V three-phase electrical power systems, breakers, feeders, and machine control circuits. Troubleshoot electro-pneumatic and hydraulic systems integrated with automated production machinery. Execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize unscheduled downtime. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. Support new equipment installations, electrical retrofits, and facility infrastructure upgrades. Qualifications 3+ years of experience as an industrial/manufacturing electrician in an automated production environment. Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting 480V power, motor controls, VFDs, and PLC systems. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and single-line diagrams. Proven problem-solving skills with a commitment to plant safety and operational uptime. Collaborative mindset with the desire to learn new technologies and advance within the organization.
