$22,500 Sign-On Bonus Available United Health Services (UHS) is hiring experienced Registered Nurses to join our Float Pool team supporting Critical Care or Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units across Wilson Medical Center and Binghamton General Hospital. Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

• Graduate of Accredited school of nursing

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

• Current New York State Registered Nurse
• CPR within 3 months of hire
• ACLS within 3 months of hire

Preferred:

• Professional Certification

Work Environment

• The Float Nurse will work in multiple care areas/ units across the UHS Hospitals care areas.
• Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients. Rooms are air conditioned and heated.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting.
• Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
• PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.

• Early Adult: 18 - 45 Years
• Mid-Adult: 46 - 59 Years
• Late Adult: 60 - 79 Years
• Elderly: 80+ Years
