Seeking Vice President of Product Marketing for a Leading AI-Native Tech Company TorchLight Hire is seeking a Vice President of Product Marketing to define and execute go-to-market strategy for our Arlington, VA-based client—a fast-growing, AI-native platform serving branches of the U.S. military. This is a high-impact opportunity for a strategic product marketing executive ready to shape market positioning, messaging, and demand generation for a mission-driven company at a pivotal moment of growth. This is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role. The ideal candidate brings a track record of leading product marketing at a B2B SaaS/AI company with $250M+ in ARR, deep experience driving market expansion and new-customer lead generation beyond an existing footprint, and the executive presence to inherit, lead, and grow a product marketing team. Location Hybrid—candidates based in the New York City, San Francisco Bay Area, or Washington, D.C. metro areas are strongly preferred, with regular travel to the company’s Arlington, VA headquarters (approximately monthly, 2–3 days per trip). Employment Direct hire, permanent opportunity Hybrid work environment, with regular in-person time at company headquarters Up to 15% additional travel Role Responsibilities Define and articulate the company’s product narratives, value propositions, and market positioning to internal and external audiences Lead and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, feature releases, and expansion into new customer segments Develop comprehensive sales enablement materials, including competitive analysis, battle cards, and executive presentations Serve as the organization’s expert on the defense/federal acquisition market, customer segments, and competitive landscape to inform product roadmap and marketing campaigns Build and lead a high-performing product marketing team, including inheriting and developing existing team members Drive product marketing and lead-generation strategy aimed at attracting new customers beyond the company’s core market Skills and Experience 15+ years of progressive experience in Product Marketing, including 3+ years in a Director/VP leadership role at a B2B enterprise software, SaaS, or AI company Experience at a company with $250M+ in ARR strongly preferred Demonstrated people leadership experience, including successfully inheriting and growing existing teams Experience developing go-to-market strategy and messaging aimed at new-customer acquisition and market expansion Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred U.S. citizenship required Proven knowledge of the U.S. federal/defense procurement process a plus Compensation & Benefits Salary range: ~$220K depending on experience and location Annual bonus eligibility Equity Comprehensive benefits (health insurance, 401(k), PTO, etc.) #J-18808-Ljbffr Torchlight
