Kitchen Manager - Full Time
FTK Hospitality | Philadelphia, PA
We are seeking a talented Banquet chef to join us in South Philadelphia. This role is perfect for a passionate culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and has a strong background in banquet operations. If you have a proven track record in managing high-volume banquet sales, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all kitchen operations for banquet services, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
- Develop and execute banquet menus that exceed guest expectations while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all kitchen operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain seamless kitchen operations.
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service during events.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen space, implementing best practices for sanitation and safety.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a kitchen management role, specifically in banquet operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse culinary team.
- Proficient in menu development and cost control.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
