We’re looking for full‑time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Pasadena, TTX area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. About the Position As Mavis’s leaders in undercar repairs, Automotive Mechanics are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers’ vehicles. They perform undercar repairs, brakes, struts, shocks, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires. They also complete state‑mandated inspections. Qualifications Applicants must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the United States, possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience, and possess an extensive personal tool set for undercar repairs. Preferred qualifications: State inspection license(s) ASE Certifications: Automotive Maintenance & Light Repair (G1), Suspension & Steering (A4), Brakes (A5) Physical requirements: Mechanics must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated movements.
