Shift- 6:45am-7:15pm 30-minute response time for on call requirement. How You'll Contribute Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies. Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments. Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients. Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery. Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory. Performs on call services as requested. Actively participates and ensures room turnovers are efficient and timely. Assist with orientation and training of personnel and students. Participates and attends meetings as required and/ or assigned. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. What We Are Looking For Applicants should have completed a Certified Surgical Technology Program. Additional requirements include: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
