Sales-Focused Insurance Opportunity

Anne Boyd State Farm is seeking a full-time Account Representative to help grow the agency through proactive sales, customer outreach, policy reviews, lead follow-up, and account development.

This is not a passive service role. The primary focus is generating new business, identifying coverage opportunities, and recommending insurance solutions across multiple product lines. The ideal candidate enjoys building customer relationships while staying motivated by activity, production, and measurable sales results.

What You'll Do

• Contact prospective and existing customers to identify coverage opportunities.
• Follow up consistently with cold and warm leads.
• Quote, explain, and sell insurance products across multiple lines.
• Conduct policy reviews that support cross-selling and account growth.
• Recommend coverage solutions based on customer needs.
• Develop relationships that support retention, referrals, and new business.
• Proactively market relevant insurance products and services.
• Track sales activity, manage follow-up tasks, and contribute to agency goals.
• Assist with customer concerns while keeping retention and sales objectives in focus.
• Maintain accurate records and follow office and industry procedures.

Compensation

This position includes guaranteed base pay plus commission incentives, giving motivated team members the opportunity to increase their earnings through successful prospecting, policy growth, and new business production.

Licensing Requirements

Employment is contingent upon obtaining the required insurance licenses.

• Property & Casualty license must be obtained before your first day of employment.
• Life & Health license must be obtained within 90 days of your start date.
• Licensing guidance, study resources, and onboarding support are provided.

• Ability to explain and recommend insurance products professionally.
• Willingness to engage in regular sales conversations and ask for the business.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Previous insurance, account management, customer outreach, or sales experience is preferred.
• Previous success meeting production or sales goals is preferred.
• Availability to work full-time in the Henderson, Kentucky office.
