Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide occupational therapy services to students based on their individual educational and developmental needs. This position is primarily remote , with services delivered virtually whenever appropriate. However, depending on the needs of each student and individual case requirements, the Occupational Therapist may be required to provide in-person therapy, evaluations, assessments, or testing .

Responsibilities 

• Meet with patients from many different backgrounds and compassionately discuss their health concerns and therapy needs
• Conduct evaluations to determine a starting point for each patient
• Create a therapy plan specific to each patient that will help them meet their mobility goals
• Work closely with other members of each patient’s care team to provide adequate follow-up care
• Maintain excellent records of patient therapy and progress

Qualifications

• Must hold the required state license for occupational therapy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good attention to detail
• The ability to stay positive and compassionate over a long period of time with patients
