Job Description

Position Summary: The Manager II assists the Client Accounting and Advisory services (CAAS) department through their involvement in overseeing staA’s work on client engagements and direct involvement with the client on more complex accounting and bookkeeping matters. They are also looked upon as a resource for the firm and clients in the areas of software, payroll and sales tax. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs: • Lead CAAS department engagements providing onboarding evaluation of client needs, structing ongoing engagement to ensure eAicient completion, and overseeing staA completing those engagements. • Assist new clients with cleanup of QB files and recommendations for future processing. • Assist clients with outsourced accounting services. • Complete interim and annual compilation engagements. • Review staA’s work on various engagements. • Supervise and mentor a team of employees responsible for providing comprehensive assistance to clients in areas including payroll, sales tax, property tax, 1099s, and various business-related filings. • Assist clients with payroll, sales tax, property tax, 1099s, and other business-related filings. • EAectively communicates with Federal, State and Local tax agencies on behalf of clients. • Respond to various governmental and non-governmental notices and/or audits.
